ABOUT SELENA

Selena was born and raised in northern Italy in a family of professional soccer players, where sports and fitness was a way of life. (Her grandfather Guido still has a six pack at age 84!) Selena immigrated to the U.S. at age 11 and now speaks four languages. She moved to Hawaii for college, where she fell in love with surfing and became an environmental advocate.

Selena moved back to New York in 2010 to pursue acting school at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. That’s where her passion for sports, movement, and raw competition moved her to train and fight as an amateur boxer. She eventually became a fitness boxing coach. After joining Peloton in 2018, Selena trained for and won her first marathon, the Nova Scotia Marathon, with a Boston Marathon qualifying time. Selena brings a unique energy to her classes at Peloton, encouraging members to rise up and unleash their inner strength. You can get #strongwithsel on the peloton app, tread, or find her floor content on the Peloton bike.

When she's not teaching classes or surfing her favorite breaks, you can catch Selena on the golf course or hanging out with her dog Dolly.
